Our facility, located on its own 80 acre industrial site in Clay City, KY consists of nearly 6 acres of paved lots and 13 acres of site improvements.  The company purchases green lumber from local sawmills and kiln dries the lumber for its own use and for resale to other entities.  The company's location on the Mountain Parkway, 18 miles from Interstate 64 and 35 miles from Interstate 75, provides easy access to the major markets located in the Midwestern, Northeastern, and Southeastern United States.  Kentucky is the nations' fourth largest hardwood producer and there are estimated to be in excess of 200 commercial sawmills within 100 miles of Red River.
